dip bowl heart paint tray memorial cross
I really liked how this bowl turned out. one thing I would most definately do differently next time though is use underglaze for the funky design becuase the colors jut ended up being too similar of a color for my liking, but I still think it ended up looking really good seeing as pinchpots dont usually go this well for me.
This was honestly just a little test project because I wanted to see what the white opalescent glaze would look like on its own, but iit turned into something more simple that I've made that I really like. This will definately be useful at home and in other art classes due to the fact that it glazed almost perfectly.
I made this because my great grandma had recently passed and I wanted to honor her in some way. I did all the design in the greenware stage with underglaze, which I dont usually do, but it turned out looking so cute and I couldn't be happier with it. I wouldn't change anything other than the fact that the writing of her name was hard to paint on but that's really it.

good luck charms star plate house decoration #2
I made these starfish matching for Lonan and I because I wanted to make him something and I think they turned out really cute. I love making small animal trinkets like this so these were fun to make. My favorite part was doing all the glazework and making them look like starfish but I wish I had picked differnt colors for the pink one because all the colors sort of mushed together.
this was fun to make because I like to do slump molds but I don't usually do them with a 3D type of design like this, so It was cool to experiment with things like that, It also gave me better practice with scoring and slipping and learning how to smooth the edges afterwards. I would definately glaze this differently if I could go back in time because the glazes both lied to me when the bottle said they'd "drastically lighten". DO NOT TRUST PINKIE SWEAR!!!!!
this was ultimately made to go hand in hand with another little white house that I made last year. The first time I tried it was too big and the floors just weren't sitting right, but when I made it again and smaller, it seemed to work out a lot better. I would change the way i painted the designs, I think they could've used a little more time and being more delicate and careful with the piece. I'm mad because when I was waiting to clear glaze it, somone got a fat drop of clay water in the dining room box and it was hard to clean and can still be seen. ALSO after I glazed and took out of the kiln, that little blue dot showed up in the bedroom which wasn't there before.

stripe mug dip bowl #2 gingerbread ornaments
the idea of this mug was really cute. I felt really accomplished on the shape of the handle and how the mug looked but otherwise I'm not happy with how it turned out. Some of the glaze started seperating and I think maybe I just put it on too thick or it doesn't go with the clay well. Ill get a final picture next time I go to Dylan's because I forgot to take one before I gave it to her.
I LOVE THIS BOWL. It's the best pinch pot I've ever made and the underglaze was beautiful and so precise. BUT THEN the clear glaze after it was fired decided to chip off in big chunks and I'm so sad about it. The worst part is that this was a gift for someone and it was so cute, it's just really disapointing.
I'm not mad about how these turned out I just have a few complaints and notes to myself. I should've cleaned out the hole better before glaze firing because they're now blocked with glaze which is going to be really hard to remove. One of the gingerbread's glaze turned out a weird texture but I'm used to that happneing with the clear glaze which is why I generally try to avoid it.

turkey figurine IN PROGRESS IN PROGRESS
This honestly started as a quick thanksgiving project because I had extra time in a class period but it ended up looking so good. The problem was that I put it in my backpack to take it home as one does, and the head broke off and it was a really sad moment that did in fact make me cry a little. I still have to get a picture of it but I'm going to try to glue the head back on.
